Viv would like to say a very big thank you to you all for the kind donations you have made so far for Dementia UK

My mum, Viv Nicholson, developed dementia in 2009 and we've had to deal with ‘losing her’ whilst she carried on living her life. Viv’s always supported the underdog and helped people less fortunate than herself. So we're trying to raise awareness and money to support Dementia UK, a charity to help victims and their families of this cruel condition.

I’ve recently finished a grueling 9-day trek along the Great Wall of China and raised over £3,000 for Dementia UK. If you want to donate please visit the link below and give as much, or as little as you can, every penny counts!

Witnessing the debilitating effect that dementia had on my mother and our family, mobilized us to raise awareness and fundraise to help to fight this dreadful condition.

Hopefully, in some small way we have made someone else's life a little bit easier.

Above are some photos were taken during the Great Wall of China trek, showing the challenges and difficulties we all faced whilst raising money for our own individual good causes.

My mum, Viv Nicholson, lost the battle with her fight against dementia today, 11th April 2015.  For those who’d like to remember her, Viv would like any donations to go to Dementia UK (she’s always hated flowers since she lost the love of her life, our father Keith, over 50 years ago). Thank you for any donation and for visiting her page.
